DevPocket is a developer utility app by TechHive Innovations. This policy explains what the app collects, how Firebase services support sign-in and sync, and how users can control or delete their data.

01Information We Collect

DevPocket may collect and store the following information:

  • Account information from Google Sign-In, such as your Google account identifier and basic profile information provided through Firebase Authentication.
  • App data you create or choose to save, including code snippets, favorite tool IDs, theme preference, notification preference, and last tool behavior preference.
  • Basic usage and diagnostic information through Firebase Analytics, such as screen views and app interaction events.

We use collected information to:

  • Provide Google Sign-In and identify your account for cloud sync.
  • Sync your saved snippets and preferences across devices.
  • Improve app reliability, usability, and performance.
  • Maintain app functionality and troubleshoot issues.

03Data Storage and Processing

DevPocket uses Firebase services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Firebase Analytics. Your synced app data is stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore under your authenticated user account. Some data may also be stored locally on your device for app functionality.

04Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate the app, including Google Firebase. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the security and integrity of the app.

05User Choices

You can use app controls to sign out of Google Sign-In, pause cloud sync, clear cached data, or clear user data stored in the app. You may also manage Google account permissions through your Google account settings.

06Data Deletion

If you want your cloud-synced DevPocket data deleted, contact us at the email address below. Please include the Google account email associated with your DevPocket sign-in so we can identify the relevant account data.

07Children's Privacy

DevPocket is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

08Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
